COBI.msv is a server-side implementation of the German standard MSV3 for data interchange between pharmacies and pharma suppliers.

It implements exclusively Version 2 of the standard, not Version 1, and implements only the server (supplier side), not the client (pharmacy side).

It is implemented as a Java program / systemd service, and can run on any GNU/Linux distribution with JDK 15 or higher. (OpenJDK can be easily downloaded from the Oracle website and installed in the “/opt” directory without the need of a distribution-specific package.)

COBI.msv uses Service Layer to communicate with SAP Business One. It uses exclusively the SAP Business One database and does not use any database of its own. Orders made by a pharmacy through MSV3 are booked as sales orders into your SAP Business One system.
