====== Terminal Setup ======

This page describes step by step how to set up a terminal station for COBI.time.

===== Prerequisites =====

To set up a terminal station, both hardware and software components are required.  
The following section provides an overview of the necessary elements.

==== Hardware ====

  * Tablet: Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (10.5-inch total diagonal, 10.1-inch display)  
  * Wall Mount: Neomounts DS15-630WH1  
    * lockable, to prevent tampering or theft  
    * provides enough space inside for a USB hub  
  * USB Hub: used to connect the tablet with external devices  
  * RFID Reader: connected via the USB hub  

==== Software ====

  * Fully Kiosk Browser (available in the Google Play Store)  
  * Tablet Configuration:  
    * Enable the Screen Pinning feature  
    * Example path:  
      Settings → Security → Other Security Settings → Screen Pinning  

This function allows the Fully Kiosk Browser app to remain permanently pinned,  
preventing end users from accessing other areas of the tablet.

you can create a robust and tamper-proof terminal station for use with COBI.time.

Diese Seite beschreibt Schritt für Schritt, wie eine Terminalstation für COBI.time eingerichtet werden kann.
===== Voraussetzungen =====

Für den Aufbau einer Terminalstation werden sowohl Hardware- als auch Softwarekomponenten benötigt.  
Im Folgenden finden Sie eine Übersicht der erforderlichen Elemente.

==== Hardware ====

  * Tablet: Samsung Galaxy Tab A8 (10,5 Zoll Gesamtdiagonale, 10,1 Zoll Display)  
  * Wandhalterung: Neomounts DS15-630WH1  
    * abschließbar, um Manipulation oder Diebstahl zu verhindern  
    * bietet ausreichend Platz für einen USB-Hub im Inneren  
  * USB-Hub: zur Verbindung des Tablets mit externen Geräten  
  * RFID-Reader: wird am USB-Hub angeschlossen  

==== Software ====

  * Fully Kiosk Browser (erhältlich im Google Play Store)  
  * Tablet-Konfiguration:  
    * Aktivieren der Funktion Fenster anheften
    * Beispielpfad:  
      Einstellungen → Sicherheit → Andere Sicherheitseinstellungen → Fenster anheften  

Diese Funktion erlaubt es, die App Fully Kiosk Browser dauerhaft anzuheften.  
Dadurch wird verhindert, dass Endanwender Zugriff auf andere Bereiche des Tablets erhalten.
