====== Progressive Web App ======

COBI.time kann ab sofort wie eine App installiert und genutzt werden. Dies bietet den Komfort einer nativen Anwendung, ohne dass eine Web-UI nötig ist.

===== Was ist eine PWA? =====

Eine Progressive Web App (PWA) ist eine Webanwendung, die über ein eigenes App-Icon startet und in einem eigenen Fenster (ohne Browser-Leiste) läuft.

**Die Vorteile:**
  * **Schneller Zugriff** direkt über den Desktop oder das Startmenü 
  * **App-ähnliche Nutzung** (fokussiertes Fenster)
  * **Ideal für Terminals** und gemeinsam genutzte Geräte (Shared Devices) 
  * **Automatische Updates** – die App bleibt immer auf dem neuesten Stand 

===== Installation (Windows) =====

Die Installation wird für Google Chrome oder Microsoft Edge empfohlen. 
Hinweis: Firefox Desktop unterstützt keine App-Installation.

  - Öffnen Sie COBI.time im Browser: [[https://time.....cloud/]]
  - Klicken Sie rechts in der Adressleiste auf das Icon **"Installieren"** (oft ein Monitor-Symbol mit einem Pfeil).
  - Bestätigen Sie die Installation im Dialogfenster.

Firefox: \\

Nach der Installation finden Sie COBI.time in Ihrem Startmenü oder auf dem Desktop und können es wie ein normales Programm starten.

===== Installation (Android) =====

Auch unter Android lässt sich COBI.time als App ablegen (unterstützt von Chrome und Firefox Android).

  - Öffnen Sie COBI.time im Browser auf Ihrem Smartphone.
  - Tippen Sie auf das Browser-Menü (die drei Punkte oder Striche).
  - Wählen Sie die Option „App installieren“ oder „Zum Startbildschirm hinzufügen“.

Das COBI.time Icon erscheint nun auf Ihrem Homescreen. \\

COBI.time can now be installed and used just like an app. \\
This offers the convenience of a native application without the need for a web UI.

===== What is a PWA? =====

A Progressive Web App (PWA) is a web application that starts via its own app icon and runs in its own window (without a browser bar).

**The Benefits:**
  * **Quick access** directly via the Desktop or Start Menu
  * **App-like usage** (focused window)
  * **Ideal for terminals** and shared devices
  * **Automatic updates** – the app always stays up to date

===== Installation (Windows) =====

Installation is recommended using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
Note: Firefox Desktop does not support app installation.

  - Open COBI.time in your browser: [[https://time.....cloud/]]
  - Click on the **"Install"** icon on the right side of the address bar (often a monitor symbol with an arrow).
  - Confirm the installation in the dialog window.

After installation, you can find COBI.time in your Start Menu or on your Desktop and start it like a normal program.

===== Installation (Android) =====

COBI.time can also be added as an app on Android (supported by Chrome and Firefox Android).

  - Open COBI.time in the browser on your smartphone.
  - Tap on the browser menu (the three dots or lines).
  - Select the option "Install app" or "Add to Home screen".
